What the site is

DailyCalc provides free online calculators and unit converters. It is offered as-is, without registration and without charge. We may add, change or remove calculators at any time, and may suspend the site for maintenance or discontinue it entirely.

Results are estimates, not advice

Every calculator here is a mathematical tool. It applies a published formula to the numbers you enter and shows the result. It does not know your circumstances, and it is not a professional service.

• Financial calculators do not constitute financial, investment, tax or lending advice. Real loans carry fees, penalties and terms this site cannot know about, and investment projections are scenarios rather than predictions.
• Health and fitness calculators do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. They apply population-level formulas that may not fit you. Consult a qualified clinician before acting on them, particularly regarding pregnancy, weight, nutrition or exercise.
• Construction and engineering estimates are indicative quantities only and must not replace a qualified engineer's specification for structural work.

Decisions with real consequences deserve a qualified professional as well as a calculator.

Accuracy

The calculation engines are covered by an automated test suite and checked against published formulas, and we correct errors promptly when they are reported. Even so, we do not warrant that every result is free of error, and you use the results at your own risk. If a figure looks wrong, please tell us — accuracy is the entire value of a site like this.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use automated systems to scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure.
• Reproduce the site's written content wholesale on another site.
• Interfere with, obscure or artificially interact with any advertising shown on the site.

Intellectual property

The site's design, written explanations and branding belong to us. Mathematical formulas themselves are not owned by anyone and you are free to use any result. You may link to any page here freely, and you may quote short passages with attribution.
